Walkthrough

Start point	Speak to Gudrik in his house, south-west of the Taverley bank.

Return to Ashdale

• To start, talk to Gudrik southwest of Taverley bank. ( 1•✓)…

  1	Ask about A Shadow over Ashdale.
  ✓	[Accept Quest]

• Board the ship docked to the west.
• Go through the village to Lucy's house and talk with her. ( 1•3)…

  1	I'm here to help.
  3	Why haven't you tried to leave?

• Enter the storm drain behind the house.

Sewer raider

• Go through in the sewer, killing or running past crassians.
• Climb up the ladder at the end of the sewer.
• Run west then south through Ashdale and into the house.
• Inspect the bust of his head.
• Descend the stairs.

Smuggler's cavern

• Collect the Valve outer wheel, Valve inner wheel and Pitch.
• Repair the leaking pipe on the ground.
• Combine valve parts and repair the central barrel.
• Turn valves to move water to the door.
• Go through and kill all scouts to lower the barrier.
• Avoid the warrior and go to the lever.
• Pull the lever to kill him and continue.
• Do the same with other warriors using lever to trigger the traps.
• You can run past the scouts.

Release the Kraken

• Climb on the ship.
• Kill the 4 tentacles.
• Kill Agoroth.
• Talk to Lucy.
• Return to Gudrik and ask for a reward.
• Quest complete!

Rewards

  • May break one per day to receive bonus experience in any skill equal to that of a large fallen star
• Access to the dead man's chest in the Ashdale Caves to repeat the battle against Agoroth, giving a black pearl (or coins) with bonus experience in any skill equal to that of a medium fallen star. This can be done once per week for free players or twice a week for members.
• 757 coins, four uncut sapphires and an uncut emerald, for searching the chests in the dungeon
• 2 Treasure Hunter keys and 2 Hearts of Ice
