"Adamantite" redirects here. For the rock that adamantite ore is mined from, see Adamantite rock.
Adamantite ore is obtained from mining adamantite rocks, requiring level 70 Mining, and granting 95 Mining experience. Adamantite can be smelted in a furnace with 6 coal to form an adamant bar, requiring level 70 Smithing. Adamant bars can be smithed into various types of weapons and armour.
If using the Blast Furnace to smith adamant bars, only 3 coals are required.

Trivia
- Adamant and similar words like adamantite, adamantine, and adamantium are used to refer to any especially hard substance; whether composed of diamond, some other gemstone, or some type of metal. Both adamant and diamond derive from the Greek word ἀδάμας (adamās), meaning "unconquerable".
