An air rune obtained in the Runespan is created by siphoning air esslings, cyclones and fire storms (at 27 Runecrafting), requiring one rune essence and giving 9.5, 19 and 42 experience respectively.
Air runes are worth 0.11 Runespan points. They can also be used to chip air esslings, mind esslings and water esslings. They will disappear and be converted into points if you leave Runespan.
If you try to bank any runes or essence from Runespan you get the message "A magical force prevents you from banking this item."
