Alchemist's amulet fragments are items that were available from the Squeal of Fortune on the weekend of 7 September 2012 and later from 17 to 27 May 2013 . They were used to create an alchemist's amulet (uncharged) and simultaneously grant the player 10,000 coins (first promotion), or a shining alchemist's amulet (second promotion). Players may also choose to combine multiple fragments together into groups of up to 10, which allowed the player to create an alchemist's amulet (charged) during the first promotion, or a radiant alchemist's amulet during the second promotion.
During the first promotion, each additional fragment used doubles the amount of coins granted, starting with 10,000 and increasing to a maximum 5,120,000. The formula 10,000 ×2 (f -1) where f is the number of fragments used for the amulet can be used to calculate the amount of coins received at the maximum total level.
Trivia [ ]
This item was recycled from the first promotion to the second. Any fragments left over from the first promotion turned a shade of green, and were identical to the fragments on the squeal of fortune during the second promotion (this includes stacking in the bank).
The value of any amount of alchemist's amulet fragments is 777 coins. This is the number commonly used to refer to a jackpot.
