The Ambush Commander is an Imperial Guard archer that is stationed on top of Death Plateau, right outside of the cave the player discovers during the quest.
He will reward the player three reward lamps if the player delivers to him a crate of supplies. The delivery can only be made five times before the base is fully supplied and no further help from the player is required.
Completing all five deliveries is a requirement for the master quest cape.
