An Amulet of defence is an enchanted amulet that requires 20 Defence to be worn. It provides a 6 armour bonus and an overall critical chance of 2.6% (not far from the 3% of the amulet of power). Amulets of defence are created by casting Enchant Level 2 Jewellery on emerald amulets. One will need level 27 Magic, and it requires one cosmic rune and three air runes per cast

It is currently the only item worn on the neck slot that provides armour bonus. This amulet may be worn in free-to-play situations where the player's defensive stats are of utmost importance, as it is the only amulet which provides a boost to the player's defence bonus.
