The amulet of strength is an amulet commonly used by warriors because of its large damage bonus. It is created by casting Enchant Level 3 Jewellery on a strung ruby amulet.

Davon in Brimhaven buys amulets of strength. He used to offer better prices than the Grand Exchange and even better prices if wearing any Karamja gloves, but this is no longer possible.

Currently, the ruby amulet costs 3,893 coins, and enchanting it with a staff of fire costs 412 coins, giving a profit of −162 coins along with 59 magic xp.

Crafting an amulet of strength from scratch is a hard Lumbridge and Draynor Task, in which each of the steps must be performed in Lumbridge at ground level.

Amulets of strength are often used by free players using melee as the damage hit bonus is greater than that of the amulet of power. The larger bonus is deemed more important than the prayer bonus that the amulet of power provides.

Trivia

• After the update on 16 January 2012, the amulet's gem, when worn, was green instead of red, making it similar in appearance to the amulet of defence. This was fixed with the Troll Warzone update on 31 January 2012.
