The Anima Core of Zaros is a melee item set from Heart of Gielinor. It requires 80 Defence to wear. It has stats similar to the Torva equipment, and does not degrade, but it provides no bonuses to prayer or life points. It can be made by combining a Dormant Anima Core equipment with a Crest of Zaros.

It can be upgraded to a Refined Anima Core equipment of Zaros using 1-3 of each of Serenic, Sliskean, Zamorakian, and Zarosian essences for each piece of the armour, after the ability to craft Refined Anima Core of Zaros armour has been unlocked by earning 2,000 Zarosian reputation. Note that to create the refined version it requires 1 of each for the helm, 2 of each for the legs and 3 of each for the body.

Refined armour

Refined Anima of Zaros equipment reverts back to an unrefined version after 100,000 charges of combat, where it can be crafted again using more essences. It can also be restored to 100% charge at any time using 1-3 of each essence depending on if the piece is a helm, body, or leg (essentially re-creating it). Doing so costs 87,548,808 coins for the full set.
