Guard or can be obtained from digging at the Digsite east of Varrock) Hard leather 20 ecto-tokens Recommended: Ectophial (requires completion of Ghosts Ahoy) Activated the lodestones in Canifis, Draynor Village and Taverley A charged amulet of glory, or an explorer's ring (3/4) Remora's necklace or clan vexillum to get to the Rimmington mine Slayer ring or any slayer mask to teleport to the Morytania Slayer Tower

Getting started

• Talk to Ava on the western side of Draynor Manor. ( 1•✓)…

  • To get to her room, a candle sconce must be pulled.

Undead poultry

• With a Ghostspeak amulet equipped, head to the farm west of the Ectofuntus.
• Talk to Alice. ( 4)…

• Give the crone-made amulet to Alice's husband. ( 1)…

  1	Okay, you need it more than I do, I suppose.

• Talk to him again.
• After the cutscene, buy two undead chickens from Alice's husband for 20 ecto-tokens. ( 1•2)…

  1	Could I buy those chickens now, then?
  2	Could I buy 2 chickens?

Making a magnet

• Talk to Ava.
• Talk to Helda who is also on the western side of the manor and give her five iron bars (might need to talk to her again).
• Take the selected iron to the mine north-east of Rimmington (using the Port Sarim teleport is recommended).
• Face north and left click the selected iron to hammer it.
• Talk to Ava.

Blessed hatchet

• Attempt to cut an undead tree with a mithril hatchet. Undead trees can be found beside the path that leads you to the entrance.
• Talk to Ava.
• Go to Taverley and talk to Turael (or Spria). ( 3)…

  3	I'm here about a quest.

• Give him a mithril hatchet and holy symbol. ( 3•1)…

  3	Hello, I'm here about those trees again.
  1	I'd love one, thanks.

• Attempt to cut another undead tree with the blessed hatchet and you will receive some undead twigs.
• Talk to Ava.

Finishing up

The completed notes

• Talk to Ava to help her translate the note.
• Translate Ava's research notes. The solution is to the right.
• Talk to Ava.
• Use the pattern with a piece of hard leather and polished buttons.
• Talk to Ava.
• Quest complete!
