The Animated book is an enemy found in the Occult floors and Warped floors. Its attack resembles a highly empowered version of Fire Bolt. It is highly advised to use deflect magic or protect from magic prayers because this monster hits extremely high with magic (the level 111 books have a max hit of 372). These are usually one of the prime targets when a dungeoneering party enters a room, especially when other forms of threatening combat (e.g. level 130+ forgotten warriors or level 114 forgotten rangers) exist, because as soon as the book is dead it will be safer to turn on the other protect-from prayers to reduce your chance of dying.
