[FAQ] [doc]

Apmeken is the godess of mental pleasures, and is one of the members of the desert pantheon, a collection of deities that rule over the Kharidian Desert. Her following, as a result, is limited mainly to the desert areas, although the Menaphites of Menaphos and Sophanem follow her most devoutly. Little is known of Apmeken, and she is rarely spoken of by NPCs, even in Sophanem. Should you pick up the ape-headed Canopic jar in Icthlarin's Little Helper, you can fight her. She is Level 75.

Apmeken is the most playful, unpredictable, and mischievous of all of the minor deities of the desert. Being the god of mental pleasures, she can appeal to nearly anyone, whether they're a scholar, mage, or a tramp. Like most of the Desert Pantheon, her appearance is unique amongst the gods of RuneScape. Apmeken can change her appearance at will, although she always has the head of a monkey, ape, or baboon, depending on the exact nature she is displaying. The monkey represents skillfulness, the ape is wise, and the baboon, in nearly all situations, is comical. For unknown reasons, she only has a tail while in her monkey form.
