The Ardougne achievements are Exploration achievements relating to Ardougne and its surrounding area.

The NPCs for the easy, medium, hard, and elite achievement sets are indicated by a icon on the minimap and the world map. These are Doctor Orbon in the East Ardougne church, the Town Crier in the centre of Ardougne, and Aleck in Yanille's Hunter shop, respectively.

The rewards for this achievement set include the Ardougne cape and experience lamps giving a total of 236,500 experience in skills. A player must obtain each Ardougne cape in chronological order (e.g. medium achievements must be completed before the reward for hard achievements is available).

If the cloak is lost, it can be retrieved from the NPC who gave the player the cloak; Doctor Orbon for the Ardougne cloak 1, the Town crier for the Ardougne cloak 2, and Aleck for the Ardougne cloak 3 and 4.

This set of achievements is required for the Task Master achievement of the completionist cape.

Speak to Doctor Orbon, who is located in the East Ardougne church, to claim the rewards for the easy achievement set:

• An antique lamp granting 1,000 experience (in the skill of choice of level 25 or higher)
• 10 - 4096 coins per achievement
• Ardougne cloak 1, which grants the following bonuses:

Trivia

• On the day of the release, clicking on the spoiler box on the RuneScape website for the rewards gave the message: "Argh! Someone's pinched the rewards!"
• This is the first achievement set to involve elite achievements. Although Ardougne cloak 4 was not added until the other existing achievement sets also got the elite difficulty, with the Elite Achievement Diaries update on 7 September 2010.
• If you obtained a higher tier cloak, it's possible to "downgrade" it to the first cloak by destroying it and reclaiming a cloak from Doctor Orbon.
