Armadylean ambushers are followers of Armadyl, associated with world event 2. There are two types.

The first type appears at Armadyl-controlled sites that have a spider hole built on them. They appear whenever a Bandosian caravan stops there, and attack any bodyguards that are still alive.

The second type can appear almost anywhere that a Bandos-aligned player is found, and will attack them. They cannot appear in Daemonheim, banks, the Wilderness or in instances, and nor will they appear for players who are viewing cutscenes, already in combat or under half health. Players can encounter up to three ambushers a day. The ambusher will disappear on its own if the player takes too long (they stay for about 5 minutes) trying to kill it.

Ambushers generate adrenaline as they fight, and can use abilities Slice Backhand, Quake, Slaughter and Meteor Strike.

Trivia

  • Armadylean ambushers use the abilities Quake, Hurricane and Meteor Strike while using dual-wielding weapons, despite the fact for a player to use them it requires wielding a two-handed weapon. The threshold abilities they use also seem to generate adrenaline rather than deplete, which is unusual since threshold abilities deplete adrenaline when used by players.
