Aviansie (sometimes referred to as Aviantese) are avian creatures found in the southern section of the main chamber of the God Wars Dungeon, and can also be found within Armadyl's Eyrie, which is also found within the dungeon. Like the other creatures within the dungeon, they can be found fighting for their god Armadyl, engaging in combat against the followers of the other gods. They are often killed for their adamant bar drops.
As they are airborne, they are completely immune to melee attacks, and can only be damaged with either ranged or magic attacks. If you attempt to attack an aviansie with a melee weapon anyway, the message "The aviansie is flying too high for you to attack using melee." will appear, and the aviansie will become aggressive and start attacking you.
Aviansie are assigned as Slayer assignments by Sumona, Duradel/Lapalok, Kuradal, and Morvran after speaking to the dying knight south-west of the God Wars Dungeon entrance.[1] Kree'arra, Flight Kilisa, Wingman Skree and Flockleader Geerin serve as substitutes for these tasks.
Armadyl spiritual rangers, warriors and mages are considered to be aviansie when on a Slayer task.
Like followers of the Bandos encampment in God Wars Dungeon, aviansie have a chance of dropping the three abilities (Devotion, Sacrifice and Transfigure) which were released with The Bird and the Beast world event. To obtain the abilities LootShare doesn't have to be enabled, how ever it will increase your odds significantly. These abilities are individual drops, however you may receive multiple abilities in a single kill.

Trivia
- There used to be a statue of a "Frozen Warrior" who appeared to be stabbing an aviansie with a spear. The statue has since been removed.
- Aviansie were unique monsters in the God Wars Dungeon; even before the Evolution of Combat, if the player attempted to attack the Aviansie, they would retaliate back at the player, even if other monsters were attacking it. Other monsters prior to the update would ignore the player if they attacked them, provided that they were in combat with other monster(s).
- Prior to the God Wars Graphical update, aviansie wore parts of Armadyl armour and used weapons that looked similar to Morrigan's javelin and Morrigan's throwing axe.
- Prior to the Evolution of Combat, aviansie came in 13 different combat levels, with the lowest being 69 and the highest being 148. Lowered levelled aviansie were more common outside Armadyl's Eyrie while the higher levelled ones were common inside Armadyl's Eyrie.
- Prior to the Evolution of Combat, aviansie dropped Rune dagger (p+).
- Despite being immune to melee damage, the NPCs inside the God Wars Dungeon can still damage the aviansie using melee.
