Bandits are attackable NPCs that can be found at various locations. At the Kharidian Desert Bandit Camp, the bandits here will attack anyone who wears ANY Saradomin or Zamorak clothing or accessories as they are supporters of Zaros. Because of this, many people use this to their advantage while training, and therefore earn a high amount of experience with little effort. They can be pickpocketed at level 53 Thieving.
When player are near them with a Saradomin armour, they will shout "Time to die, Saradominist filth!" When player are near them with a Zamorak armour, they will shout "Prepare to suffer, Zamorakian scum!". When player are near them without any God item, they will shout "You choose the wrong place to start trouble!".
When armed with good armour (Barrows, Dragon, etc.) a fast, strong weapon (Abyssal Whip, Saradomin Sword, Dragon Scimitar, etc.) and good food (Sharks, Monkfish, etc.) a player can achieve up to 60,000 - 70,000 Exp per hour, even more depending on your Combat stats.
A good strategy for staying there longer is to bring some noted lobsters or swordfishes with you, and when you get out of food; just run to the nearby general store and sell your noted food and buy them back un-noted.
Another good method is using bunyip. Take few summoning potions (4) and bunyip pouches with you. It is also recommended to take few lobster or monkfishes because of random events.
Many players also use Guthan's set to heal themselves when low on health.
Most players use this way of training to train Strength.
