The Bandos helmet is a piece of the Bandos armour set. It requires 70 Defence to wear.
The bandos helmet offers better protection than the Dragon full helm. It is currently the best, non-degrading melee head slot item (aside from those in Dungeoneering and Stealing Creation, and the hybrid armour Vanguard helm and Battle-mage helm). It also has a +1 prayer bonus.
Players on a slayer assignment may wish to use a Full slayer helmet instead, due to its accuracy-and-damage boosting effects.
