Barricade guards were Lumbridge Guardsmen hired to keep Lumbridge under quarantine during the Learning the Ropes tutorial quest. Six guardsmen could be found at the entrances to Lumbridge during the quest, but after the tutorial, they disappeared as the quarantine is lifted and the dragon threat under control.

Following the removal of Learning the Ropes and the implementation of the Unstable Foundations tutorial, barricade guards are no longer found in-game.

Trivia

• When spoken to, the guards mention about the Breadbasket of Misthalin, the large farming area in Southern Misthalin. They are one of the only NPCs who have used this term.
