Berserker helm detail
Berserker helm chathead

A berserker helm is members' headgear with decent defence bonuses. To wear it, a player must have 45 Defence and have completed The Fremennik Trials. After the Evolution of Combat, its stats were surpassed by the rune full helm.

Many players prefer the helm of neitiznot over the berserker helm, because the helm of neitiznot has better defence with a prayer bonus, as well as costing slightly less than the berserker helm, and also can be obtained free from completing The Fremennik Isles.

One can buy berserker helmets from Skulgrimen in Skulgrimen's Battle Gear armour shop, found in Rellekka, for 78,000 coins after completing The Fremennik Trials. The shop also sells the other Fremennik helms such as the archer helm.

Fremennik helms update

Concept art of the helmet

  • After its graphical update, the chathead while wearing a berserker helm strangely retained its previous version. This has been fixed.
  • Prior to an update on 4 June 2018, a player could have Pikkupstix in Taverley enchant the helm with 35 Summoning, at which point it became a berserker helm (e) and could hold up to 70 scrolls. When charged, it took on a lighter colour and became a berserker helm (charged). Doing this however, removed the strength bonus on the helm.
