Bhuler is a character in the first RuneScape novel, Betrayal at Falador.

He was the valet of Sir Amik Varze and appears to care a lot for Kara-Meir. Despite of the insisting matron Bhuler often visits her and even comforts her in the chapter "The comfort of Bhuler".

During his youth, he and Sir Amik Varze were both peons. They had a duel, and Sir Amik accidentally wounded Bhuler. After this, Bhuler was forced to leave the Knights because he could not fight anymore. He then became the 'manager' of the castle, a very important job. He also became a good friend of Sir Amik.

During the Siege of Falador by the Kinshra and their allies, he rode out of the city gates with all of the remaining knights, squires and peons disguised as Sir Amik Varze in order to keep morale up. He managed to defeat the Kinshra, but was mortally wounded. Kara-Meir came to him, and promise to control her anger before he died, fulfilling the promise of the Zamorak Emissary that one of Kara-Meir's friends would die in battle for refusing him.
