Bird's eggs are occasionally found in bird's nests, which randomly fall from trees while Woodcutting on members only worlds. The chance of getting birds' nests from trees can be increased by wearing a rabbit-foot necklace. Once you see a bird's nest, be sure to pick it up for it will quickly disappear.

You can obtain any bird's egg from the Evil Tree Distraction and Diversion. Upon claiming your reward, a nest may be found, which could contain an egg.

The final method to obtain nests is through managing Miscellania. Bird nests are returned along with any logs cut. You will receive 1 nest for every 100 maple logs received. Once again there is no guarantee an egg will be found, as it may contain seeds, jewellery or an egg.

These eggs were first discovered after the release of Farming. Many players held on to eggs for years wondering what they would be used for and when it would happen. These eggs come in three colours, (red, green, and blue), identifying with each of the three main gods of RuneScape. Their use finally came about with the release of Summoning.

You can hatch the eggs into a pet bird (level 70 summoning), or convert them using level 63 Spirit cobra's special Ophidian Incubation and use them in Summoning pouches to make any of three Trices:

The Guthatrice, Saratrice, and Zamatrice eggs can also be sold on the Grand Exchange even though the bird's egg itself is untradeable.
