Black dragon masks are a reward from a level 4 Clue scroll. Upon release the value was 20,000,000 coins. This can be worn in the headwear slot.
Black Dragon masks came as part of the 4 August 2010 Update: Elite Treasure Trails and New Rewards, together with other Rewards. This mask gives no stat bonuses, players wear it for vanity or to show off their wealth.
It was recently revealed that the odds of getting a dragon mask from a treasure trail are lower than 1 in 10,000 [1].

Trivia
- When this item was released, it was worth 20,000,000 coins in the Grand Exchange.
- It was through close examination of these masks that players were able to discover the new eye features on their avatars. They did this by zooming in on the mask with an Orb of Oculus.
