Black dragonhide is a guaranteed drop from black dragons and the King Black Dragon. To make Black dragon leather, a tanner will charge 20 coins for each hide, or 45 in Canifis. Tanners can be found in Al Kharid, the Ranging Guild, Varrock, Taverley, Canifis, Prifddinas and the Crafting Guild. Members can then craft the black dragon leather into black dragonhide armour, which is used as Ranged armour.
Originally being a members' item, black dragonhide cannot be tanned or crafted into black dragonhide armour by free players. It can however, be traded between players.
