Examine	A stake, carved from the blisterwood tree.

The blisterwood stakes are throwing weapons fletched from blisterwood logs released as a reward along with the Blisterwood staff and the Blisterwood polearm from The Branches of Darkmeyer. All three weapons require 70 Fletching to make. The stakes require 70 Ranged. You can receive strange rocks from making these weapons. Its stats are similar to that of rune darts and adamant knives, only with 2 lower ranged strength. They attack with the same speed as darts and knives.

The stakes seem to have a certain minimum hit (they can still miss), they will only hit less when the vyre is on his/her last bit of health. The minimum hit goes up by 10 for every 50 vyre corpses you burn. With Extremes/Overload and Rigour active with 500 vyre corpses burnt, blisterwood stakes can hit higher than 510.

Despite having no discernible metallic parts, blisterwood stakes can still be recovered by wearing one of Ava's devices. However, when ranging regular vyrewatches, they are not recovered.

Trivia

• Despite being essentially a dart-type weapon, blisterwood stakes are held pointing in the wrong direction (opposite from the way they would be thrown, and from the way other darts are held).
• The animation for fighting with Blisterwood stakes includes a rune dart.
• These can be made on Entrana by smuggling blisterwood logs and knife to the island and making it there.
• The max hitsplat for the Blisterwood stake occurs when the maximum damage that can be hit with the darts given the player's current stats and equipment without burning any vyres is achieved - generally, this is about 320 for maxed players. Players who have burnt enough vyre corpses may notice that all hits higher than that damage level will not have a max colouration, even though these hits can go even above 500. This is probably due to the max hitsplat colouration being unable to take into account the invisible damage boosts of the vyre corpse burning effect on Blisterwood weapons.
