The blood diamond is one of four Diamonds of Azzanadra obtained during the Desert Treasure quest. It is obtained by defeating Dessous and then talking to Malak who will give the player the diamond.
It is recommended that players deposit Diamonds of Azzanadra in the bank as soon as they obtain them, as a level 81 stranger may appear and attack anyone holding one of these gems. Each additional diamond in one's inventory increases the likelihood of being attacked.
If you lose your diamond you can obtain another one by speaking to Malak again.

Trivia[]
- This diamond was originally known as the "blood diamond", then was renamed to the "bloodfire diamond", and finally it was reverted back to its original name.
- The blood diamond had at least one guardian before Malak obtained it.[1]
