A finished blue marionette was used in the 2005 Christmas event. It could be made by using a blue marionette (legs) on a marionette handle. The marionette is unusable; the player had to take it to the Taverley members' gate, where they would receive a hat. After the player took five boxes of decorations to the tree in Varrock Square and decorated it, a usable marionette would be found underneath the tree.
It featured again in the 2016 Christmas event.
