Body esshounds are creatures found on floors two and three of the Runespan. They can be siphoned for body runes, requiring 20 Runecrafting and one rune essence, and giving one body rune and 23.13 Runecrafting experience for a successful siphon. An unsuccessful siphon will give no runes, consume no essence, and give 1-2 experience.
Note: Although the requirement for body esshounds is in theory 20, they are only found on the middle or upper level of Runespan, meaning the requirement is 33.
Body esshounds can also be "chipped" for rune essence. By using 10 mind runes on the esshound, you will receive 10-20 rune essence. However, the same esshound cannot be chipped twice in a row; you can't chip the same creature until you have chipped three other Runespan creatures of any type. Body esshounds are the best ess-creatures that Free-to-Play players can siphon.
