The bone spear can be purchased after completing The Lost Tribe quest, at Nardok's Bone Weapons, which is run by Nardok in the Dorgeshuun Mines. The spear is also dropped by cave goblins and cave goblin guards and can be obtained in the Wanted! quest. Its damage bonus is lower than even the bronze dagger's, however its accuracy rating lies somewhere between the iron and steel spears'.

Trivia
- This weapon used to be used frequently in Treasure Trail emote clues but since the 4 August 2010 update, it is no longer included in emote clues.
- It also looks more like a halberd, rather than a spear, so many players call it a bone halberd.
- This is the only one-handed "spear", as such, it might be more accurately called a bone hasta.
