A bottle of mist is used during the Defender of Varrock quest. It can be obtained by using a bottle with the "Red mist" that appears after an armoured zombie is killed. Three bottles of mist are required for the quest (one for each door).
Armoured zombies can be found within the Chaos Temple dungeon.
