− | One technique players can use for getting maximum experience output, is to go to the Forinthry Dungeon and train on hellhounds there. Using Soul Split in conjunction with a bonecrusher and any dungeoneering prayer necklace (such as the demon horn necklace, split dragon tooth necklace and twisted bird skill necklace) can be a useful method for health restoration, without having to worry about prayer. Doing this method until the gloves are fully degraded can earn anywhere between 300k-500k experience per hour while being considerably AFKable. However, players should be careful of player killers as this dungeon is in the wilderness. |

Brawling gloves (Melee) (also known as Melee brawling gloves) are obtained as a rare drop from Revenants in the Forinthry Dungeon, the Chaos Elemental, as a drop from the rare drop table, by pickpocketing Iorwerth workers in Prifddinas, or as a rare drop from Iorwerth guards and Iorwerth scouts.
When wielded, 50% XP boost is given at the entrance or outside of the Wilderness, with the buff increasing to 300% (4x the experience) at level 47 Wilderness just south of the fence. Most XP modifiers stack multiplicatively with the gloves (i.e. Clan avatars gives up to 106% XP and Brawling gloves are 400% XP, for a total 424% XP). The gloves do not work during Double XP weekends or with the Enlightenment aura.
Since an update, instead of charges the gloves have approximately a 300,000 XP cap on extra XP gained. As this cap recognizes XP buffs, expending them in the Wilderness only uses charges faster for no increased gain. It is recommended to consume them during normal training.
Places to train in the Wilderness with the gloves could include:
- Pirates' Hideout (level 50+ thieving recommended, as it is hard to pick the lock(s) sometimes)
- Hellhounds
- Deadly red spiders
- Lesser demons
- Greater demons
- Ice giants
- Ice warriors
- Moss giants
- Earth warriors
- Fire giants
- Black demons
- Forinthry Dungeon
