Brawling gloves (Mining) (also known as Mining brawling gloves) are obtained as a drop from Revenants, the Chaos Elemental or from the Rare drop table. Additionally, these may be obtained by pickpocketing Trahaearn workers in Prifddinas.
The gloves provide 50% bonus while training on the Mining skill. In addition, the gloves provide up to 300% bonus to experience if players train while in the Wilderness. The gloves last for 30 minutes of mining (estimated at around 350-800 ores, depending on the players mining level), and disintegrates after the charges are used up.
They provide no Attack or Defence bonuses whatsoever.
The best way to use these gloves is to mine rune ore from a divine runite rock. This can be created at 94 Divination although it can be used if placed for you. A safe alternative is mining seren stones when the Voice of Seren is active in the Trahaearn clan, where they can be used around 700 times.
Another option is to use them at the hobgoblin mine south of the lava maze. This location has 8 adamantite rocks as well as an abundance of mithril rocks, allowing for more xp per item. However, there are many aggressive level 28 hobgoblins so players with low defence may need food and/or armour.
