Breadcrumbs are one of the ingredients used in making a raw fishcake. Players can make raw fishcakes during and after the Pirate Pete part of the Recipe for Disaster quest. Breadcrumbs are made by using a knife on some bread, awarding the player with 1 Cooking experience.
Trivia
- The animation for making breadcrumbs is the same animation as herblore.
- F2P players were able make these by using a knife on bread even though it's a members' item, but it would have appeared as "members object". This was fixed on 31 January 2012 along with the Troll Warzone update.
- One of the tasks during the Runescape Road Trip in 2014 is "Feed 10 breadcrumbs to a duck in less than 20 seconds. Inccidentally, during this time period, feeding a Drake in Falador Park 21, specifically 21 breadcrumbs in 20 seconds or less would transform it into a Mega Duck."
