Burnt pie is the result of accidentally burning any kind of pie. The lowest-level pie, redberry pie, requires 10 Cooking, and burning it will become less common with a higher Cooking level.
The burnt pie has no use whatsoever, but it can be emptied to reclaim a pie dish. Like most other burnt food, it is tradeable to other players but not on the Grand Exchange.
A hidden update on 4 March 2013 made all burnt pies stackable.
