Burnt short-finned eel is the result of accidentally burning a raw short-finned eel while attempting to make a short-finned eel. Cooking a short-finned eel requires 40 Cooking, and burning it will become less common with a higher Cooking level. The tier of the fire used to cook it also affects the burn rate.
Unlike most other items in Dungeoneering, burnt short-finned eel dropped on the ground will disappear after 30 seconds.
