Buttercap are a type of rare mushroom found while foraging mushroom clusters on Goshima within the Arc region of the Wushanko Isles. They may be sold to the Tang Chufang shop in Waiko for 2 chimes each.
Along with russulas, summertwirls, and toastools, buttercaps are considered rare mushrooms within the Arc. The combined total of rare mushrooms foraged can be displayed in-game via quick chat code G→T→G→8, displaying: I have foraged a combined total of [x] rare mushrooms within the Arc.
