Butterfingers is an Invention perk that has a chance to automatically drop resources that the player gathers to the ground. It can be created in tool gizmos.

When it activates for an item that can be dropped, the item is dropped under the player and the following message appears: Your butterfingers perk causes you to drop your items. If the item is destroyed when dropped, the item is destroyed and the following message is displayed: Your butterfingers perk causes you to throw the items away.
