The candy floss machines are part of the Spring Fayre. One machine could be found in the north-western part of the crater, and another was in the eastern part. Twirling sugar at it during the event allows players to gain Cooking experience. There is a random chance of receiving a candy floss maul.

Each twirl takes about 10.2 seconds, meaning that during Happy Hour this could be done around 353 times.

When obtaining the candy floss maul, players receive the message:

  • Sweet dreams are made of these! You've unlocked the candy floss maul.

There is a confirmation prompt about gaining experience when starting the twirling that can be toggled off permanently.

At level 99 cooking, twirling sugar at the candy floss machine successfully yields 481.8 Cooking experience, or 529.9 during a Happy Hour.

2017[]

Twirling sugar cost two fayre attraction tokens for 642.4 experience and 75% chance for six fayre prize tickets, or 706.6 experience and one ticket during a Happy Hour.

During a Happy Hour one could obtain approximately 265 tickets.

Attempting to twirl sugar without enough fayre attraction tokens prompted the messages:

  • You do not have enough fayre tokens to use this machine. You need 2 tokens.
  • You can get more fayre tokens and tickets from the stall by the Bucking Baroo.
