A black cape can be obtained by killing a Highwayman or using black mushroom ink on a regular Cape. Dying a cape black requires a crafting level of 1, and grants the player 2.5 xp in Crafting. It is sometimes called the highwayman's cape because it is the cape that highwaymen wear. It can be bought from Barker's Haberdashery in Canifis.
