Getting started[]

Location of the family's home
- Head to the Carnillean Family's home in the south-west corner of East Ardougne, south of the castle.
- Talk to Xenia.
- Talk to Ceril Carnillean.
- Talk to Butler Crichton.
- Head into the basement and enter the hole on the east wall (cutscene will begin), then head back to the house.
Item finding[]
Upstairs[]
Master bedroom[]
- Go to the 1stUK] and take the red and black floor[dragon heads from the wall.
- Tear the net curtain from the northeast wall.
- Search the southern wardrobe for the armour and sword.
- Take the money pouch from the bed or Henryeta's necklace from the dresser.
Phillipe's room[]
- Search his painting set for red paint.
Sarsaparilla's room[]
- Talk to Sarsaparilla , then talk again.
- Search the wardrobe for her dress.
The cellar[]
- Head to the cellar and talk to Claus the chef.
- Search the cupboard, take everything (wooden boards, twine, shears, and Sir Ceril's wine).
- Search the barrel of junk to collect rusty spikes.
- Pick up the spider from the floor.
The cave[]
- Right-click build on the hole hotspot.
- Enter the cave and talk to Sarsaparilla and Claus.
- Continue through the cave and talk to the goblins.
- Southeast of the goblins, enter the passage, take skulls and bones from the spoils heap.
- Take the cave mouse to have the wolves follow you out.
Building the quest[]
- Head north to the centre bridge.
- Build the jailer hotspot.
- If the money pouch was taken, use it on Claus.
- Cross the bridge, build the dragon hotspots.
- Use the dragon heads on the wolves.
- Build the Damsel hotspot.
- If the necklace was taken, use it on Sarsaparilla.
- Head back south across the bridge.
- Build hotspots in these locations as you backtrack up towards the cellar:
- Decoration - on the wall east of the goblin's bonfire
- Traps - east and west of the bonfire
- Decoration - west of the bonfire at the end of the hall
- Decoration - on the north wall before turning around towards the cave entrance
- Obstacle - build spike pit on the floor in the southernmost corridor, heading towards the cave entrance
Phillipe[]
- Head back into the house and talk to Philipe.
- Pickpocket him. Talk to him again.
- Proceed through the cave while Philipe follows.
- Watch the cutscene where Philipe attempts to pass the guards.
- Talk to one of the goblins until a dialogue window with the Butler appears - do not continue dialogue until Philipe passes.
- Talk to Philipe again to have him follow.
- Continue towards Claus.
- Talk to Philipe again to have him follow.
- Continue towards the dragons.
- After the dragons are slain, a cave wolf matriarch will arrive.
- Attempt to attack the matriarch to focus its attacks on you. Dodge or withstand the attacks until Philipe kills it.
- Do not use Protect from Magic or the matriarch will revert her attention back to Philipe.
- Talk to Philipe for a cutscene.
Finishing up[]
- Talk to Ceril for a cutscene.
- Talk to Xenia.
- Talk to Ceril.
- Quest complete!
- Loot the chest near Ceril.

- Talk to Claus the chef and then defeat the wolf matriarch to obtain her skull[1]
- Talk to Ceril Carnillean to locate Philipe Carnillean, who will give you an experience lamp worth 2,000
experience in a skill of your choosing. You must have the correct number of quest points before Ceril gives you the next location. You don't have to speak to Ceril to unlock the next location; However, you need to use the experience lamp to make Philipe move to the next location.
- After speaking to Philipe with 200 quest points, players can talk with Henryeta Carnillean and claim Rover the red dragon. After speaking to Philipe with 400 quest points, players can also claim Spot the black dragon from Henryeta Carnillean.
