Chain is a basic magic ability. When activated the player casts a spell that hits the primary target and 2 other nearby targets within a 6 square radius for 20-100% of active spell damage.
Ricochet is the Ranged equivalent of Chain. However, Ricochet would go on to hit other targets when the 1st hit misses, while Chain does not.
The Caroming perk will increase the number of targets Chain can hit.
