A chain link mould is a mould used along with a mithril bar and a silver bar to make silvthril chain. It is found by the player during the Legacy of Seergaze quest. If the player loses this item, another can be obtained in the Myreque Hideout in Meiyerditch, in the room east of the entrance ladder, in some crates.
The silvthril chain received from using a mithril bar and silver bar on a furnace is one of the parts of the Ivandis flail, alongside a Silver sickle(b), and Rod of Ivandis.
