Examine A lovely cupboard, leading to a Christmas event.

The Christmas cupboard was used to gain entry into the Land of Snow during A Christmas Warble, the 2009 Christmas event. They made a return appearance in the 2010 Christmas event, O' Little Town of Daemonheim, and the 2016 Christmas event, Frostworld.

In 2009, there were three cupboards available to players, one each in Varrock, Falador, and Draynor Village. Each cupboard was accompanied by a partygoer exclaiming phrases such as Come inside, wine, food, and many more! and Merry Christmas! Merry Christmas!

In 2010, four cupboards existed, one each in Varrock, Falador, Draynor Village, and Lumbridge. They were each accompanied by Fremennik men and women, who explained the nature of the Heimland Games.

Christmas cupboard 2016

The cupboards make a return in 2016.

In 2016, three cupboards are available to players, one each in Varrock, Burthorpe, and Lumbridge to teleport players to Santa's Christmas neighbourhood. The holiday portal in Prifddinas also acts as a cupboard. 11 cupboards exist within Santa's Christmas neighbourhood that teleport players to different Christmas events that happened over the years.

  • This cupboard is based on the magical wardrobe featured in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, a novel from The Chronicles of Narnia series, by C.S. Lewis. In the novel, the wardrobe is a portal used to gain access to the magical land of Narnia.
  • The cupboards were the one of the first interactive sceneries to use particle effects. Snowflakes can be seen floating out of the cupboard. Particle effects can also seen in the Land of Snow where snowflakes appear to fall onto the ground.
