Clay familiar (class 1) chathead

A clay familiar can only be summoned during the Stealing Creation minigame. This is the lowest class of clay familiar and requires one piece of class 1 clay to create. As well as being able to fight, it can hold 1 item. It should be noted that it is impossible to dismiss or withdraw items from clay familiars while in fog.

When you die any familiar you had summoned will disappear and will drop any items they were holding on the ground where they were standing when you died. Many players, particularly mages, though theoretically anyone could use this tactic, use familiars to their advantage in this situation. When the familiar disappears and drops the items it is holding the items, for a short time the items are only visible to you (similar to if you were to drop the items yourself). For this reason many mages use familiars to hold extra runes so that if they die they can run back, pick up the runes, and resume fighting without having to make more.

Pouch

Sacred clay pouches (class 1) are made by using class 1 sacred clay on a Creation kiln. They can be made with level 1 summoning and require level 1 summoning to use. The familiars summoned have 1 beast of burden slot and a special ability that banks the items within its inventory. This is the weakest of 5 variations.

Clay Deposit

The clay deposit scroll from the Stealing Creation minigame is made by using any class of Sacred Clay on a Creation kiln. With a clay deposit scroll, players can use the Clay Deposit special move. This stores all the familiar's Beast of Burden items in the base. This can be extremely useful, especially when far away from your team's base. If players have low Summoning levels, then they should make stackable items, e.g. scrolls, arrows, or runes, and use the familiar to carry them and deposit them. This requires 30 special move points, meaning that a player could only use it twice in a row before it has to recharge.
