- The Cooking Skill cape, with a duration of 14.2 seconds, was the longest emote in RuneScape, until the Max cape was released on 3 May 2011, lasting over 17 seconds.
- There is currently a glitch where if you eat while running with the cape equipped, the player's feet will show through the cape.
- There is a glitch on this cape, if you run back and forth, then do the emote, the food in the emote becomes off-time from the rest of the emote's animation.
- The Cooking cape's trim is the similar to the Slayer cape's.
- If you teleport while performing the cooking skillcape emote, the emote becomes off-time.
- The colour of the cape is close to portal purple, a colour in the clothes shop in Varrock.
