Corrupt Vesta's longsword is obtained by killing Revenants in the Forinthry Dungeon or as a very rare drop from the Chaos Elemental. It requires level 20 Attack and lasts only for 15 minutes of wielding. After the time is up, the longsword will vanish.
Once you wield this item for longer than around 30 seconds, it will have the word (deg) added to its name and it becomes untradeable. Using this item in combat adds the (deg) to its name instantly, also rendering it untradeable.
The longsword is a one-handed weapon, and thus a shield can be used with it. However, this weapon is extremely expensive considering its short time-limit.
As 15 minutes contain 1500 ticks and the sword hits once per 5 ticks, you are able to hit 300 hits with this sword before it degrades. Thus, each hit costs approximately 2,647 coins when using this sword.
This weapon is very handy for pures with low attack levels. Despite requiring 20 Attack, it has the accuracy of a rune longsword and the damage of a black longsword. However, it costs far more than either and only lasts for 15 minutes of wielding. When this weapon is degraded you will get coins equal to half of the item's Grand Exchange price in grave.
