The crane schematic is an item used in the Elemental Workshop II quest. It includes instructions on how to make a crane claw from elemental metal. This item is gained by searching one of two crates near the entrance to the Elemental Workshop II quest room.
This item also holds no other purpose than in Elemental Workshop II, as multiples of them can be acquired.
