The crystal amulet is an amulet from the elf city that has been given to certain members. Players who receive the amulet get a message in their chatbox saying it has been sent to their bank. The amulet, along with the Enlightenment aura, was given to players with 12 consecutive months of membership as of 28 May 2014, Gold Premier club members, and anyone subscribing using the Summer Special membership promotion.
When choosing the Rub option, either a prismatic crystal or 3 prismatic crystal fragments appear in the player's inventory. The crystal provides bonus experience for the 10 skills required for Plague's End, while each fragment can be redeemed for bonus xp equivalent to a Small fallen star in a skill of the player's choice. The amulet can be rubbed once per day.
If the crystal amulet, or one of the shiny or sparkling clover necklaces, is worn while earning experience, a crystal motherlode shard will be awarded at regular intervals, at a rate of roughly one per hour of experience gain. An elder seed will also be given with the 24th shard.
