Crystal amulet was removed from RuneScape after an update, but still exists in-game for those who had obtained it. |
The crystal amulet is an amulet from Prifddinas that was given to eligible members. Players who received the amulet got a message in their chatbox saying it had been sent to their bank. The amulet, along with the Enlightenment aura, was given to players with 12 consecutive months of membership as of 28 May 2014, Gold Premier club members, and anyone subscribing using the Summer Special membership promotion.
The amulet could be rubbed once per day, and either a prismatic crystal or 3 prismatic crystal fragments appeared in the player's inventory. The crystal provided bonus experience for one of the ten skills required for Plague's End, while each fragment could be redeemed for bonus experience equivalent to a Small fallen star in a skill of the player's choice.
If the crystal amulet was worn while earning experience, a crystal motherlode shard was awarded at regular intervals, at a rate of roughly one per hour of experience gain. An elder seed was also given with each 24th shard.
These effects will work for either 90 days after you received the amulet or from the date you received the amulet up to and including 22 September 2014, whichever is longer. After this date the amulet will still provide combat benefits, but not the three effects described above.
Despite having combat stats, the crystal amulet may be taken to Entrana. It can be reclaimed from Diango in Draynor Market if lost.
