A fully grown curry tree bearing 6 curry leaves.

A Curry tree can be grown in a fruit tree patch from a curry tree sapling using the Farming skill. This requires level 42 Farming. Players receive 40 Farming experience for planting a curry tree and 2,907 Farming experience for checking its health when it is fully grown. Players also receive 15 Farming experience each time they pick a curry leaf from the tree, which produces a leaf about once every 30 minutes as fruit. 3 curry leaves can be added to uncooked stew, which can then be cooked to make curry. Leaves grow back after some time.

Curry tree, like other fruit trees, takes approximately 14 hours to grow. The nearby farmer may be paid to watch over this tree. Payment is 5 baskets of bananas (25 total, and must be in baskets) and optionally may be noted to save space.

Production costs

The data in this table is based on the Grand Exchange prices of a Curry tree seed and a Curry leaf, assuming one seed is processed to 6 curry leafs and a gardener is paid with 25 bananas in 5 baskets to keep the patch disease free.
