Cyclossus are monsters found inside the Warriors' Guild. They are much taller than a regular Cyclops and drop the Dragon defender and the Cyclopean helmet. There is a chance a cyclossus will be summoned when a player kills a regular cyclops, providing the player had shown a rune or dragon defender to Kamfreena before entering the room. To fight a cyclossus, the player must wield either a Rune or Dragon defender.
When a cyclossus first appears, it can only be attacked by the player it is after, and nobody else. (On the first day there was a bug where if many players tried to attack it, one would succeed if the original player stopped attacking long enough.) If the original player breaks off combat with the cyclossus (by not attacking it or being attacked by it for 10 seconds), the cyclossus will walk around the room taunting other players by name, and calling out things like "your mum has two eyes!"and "Two-eyed freaks! think you can take on Cyclossus?". During this time, any player not in combat can attack the cyclossus, not just the original player.
The cyclossus possesses a special move which shoves the player back several squares and knocks the player down. The cyclossus then follows this move up with a magic attack that looks like a tiny lightning bolt. This always hits, damaging and stunning the player. The player cannot move while stunned but can do things that do not require movement such as eating or drinking a potion.It is recommended to stand near a wall in the warriors guild while fighting Cyclossus, to stop it from pushing you away.
The melee attacks of a cyclossus are much more accurate than those of a regular cyclops. Not even a high defence level and high-stat gear is enough to avoid taking damage, so food is recommended. The Protect from Melee prayer blocks the melee damage and is recommended for player who have that prayer. This prayer, however, does not block the special move or magic attack of the cyclossus. Harrallak does not allow Ancient Curses to be used in the Warriors' Guild, so Deflect Melee cannot be used. Ancient curse users should switch to the regular prayers if they wish to use prayer in the room.

Trivia
- Cyclossus is a portmanteau of the terms "cyclops" and "colossus", meaning it is a big cyclops.
- On the day of release many players complained about the Cyclossus being easily stolen by other players due to its special attack which stuns the player for a short period of time, roughly the same as being stunned from a failed pickpocketing attempt. This would leave the player's Cyclossus vulnerable to other players attacks and could potentially lead to the Cyclossus being stolen. This was actually a glitch and was fixed the following day. Now, attempting to attack another player's Cyclossus will yield the message "The Cyclossus isn't after you at the moment," even if the player it is after isn't attacking it. The Cyclossus can still be stolen from a player if the player hasn't damaged it and fails to attack after a stun, or if the player unequips the defender, or if they leave the room, even if damage was dealt initially.
- The Cyclossus has the highest combat level of all giants with a combat level of 156, Glod being second with a combat of 138. Despite having the highest combat level, they do not have the highest maximum hit.
- Cyclossus is one of the few monsters in RuneScape that has an extended life bar.
