Damis is one of the four guardians of the Diamonds of Azzanadra, fought during the Desert Treasure quest. He has two forms, the first being a rather easy level 103, the second being a very tough level 174.

Both forms of Damis has the ability to drain Prayer. It doesn't matter if he hits a zero, or a 29, he drains prayer by 3-5 points each time he hits.

Keep in mind that Damis is located in a multicombat area. Protect from Melee prayer is strongly advised, as Damis has a maximum hit of 29.

Locations

West of the Fishing Guild, down a ladder which requires the Ring of Visibility to be seen. When approaching Damis' location, the player will be told that they hear a voice from the walls telling them to turn back.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Damis uses what looks like full Iron armour with Iron medium helm, and Iron 2-handed sword in 1 hand.

His main weakness seems to be Earth spells, so spells such as Earth Blast or Earth Wave are advised. It is also recommended to use Snare, Bind, or Entangle to keep him in one place. Using binding spells will also greatly reduce the need of Prayer potions.

On his second form, 10-20 Prayer potions may be needed. A couple of Energy potions (4) may be used to get through the lair, and rest of inventory should be filled with sharks.

Trivia

• Damis has two forms which must be defeated. After defeating the first form, those who fail to defeat the second form may return to continue the battle with the second form. The first form of Damis will not be fought again.
• Damis has the ability to drain Prayer, regardless of his hits.
• The ladder to Damis' lair can only be seen using the Ring of Visibility, obtained from Rasolo.
• The Spa facilities in Oo'glog can be used to boost Energy, Hitpoints and Prayer levels. This facility is available to those who have completed As a First Resort... quest.
